Eyeglasses Display Case

Eyeglasses Display Case

Holds 20 pairs of specs.

We met Sarah as a fellow vendor at the Halifax Crafters' Society Spring Fair this past April. Our bathroom is fully stocked with her quirky, thoughtful, pop-culture referencing soaps she designs and creates for her company Bad Mouth Soap. Click on that link and you'll see what I mean. We are currently lathering up with "Bjork" and are happier, shinier, better smelling people for it.

Sarah asked us to make a display case for her collection - her eyeglasses collection. She has 20 pairs to display. Does she have more that are not display worthy?! We were looking forward to getting a little Birdmouse into her house!

Our very own collapsed community hockey rink.

Our very own collapsed community hockey rink.

When we purchased our workshop and property in 2013, it included an abandoned community hockey rink. The rink collapsed on us in 2014 and has been a huge source of wood for the things we build. This display case was no exception. Below is a side board that was used for the backing - complete with puck marks!

We happen to have this glass cabinet door in stock - that just happened to fit 20 pairs exactly, as requested.

Excuse me, Universe? One glass door 42" x 57" please and thank you.

There you have it! Now I am going to go find out what ingredients are in the "Piper Chapman" soap...

You'll be set for a fortnight. And then some!
